Saying bye-bye to plastic bags is just the beginning...

This website is for everybody not just for hardcore treehuggers. We don't want you to give up driving and spend a fortune on eco-friendly stuff. We don't want you to feel guilty if you accidentally put your newspaper in the garbage bin instead of the recycling container. This website is about provinding practical tips to help you find alternatives to plastic bags, reduce your energy needs and recycle what you can. You don't have to go out of your way. You can still watch TV!

Why bother?

The concept of enviromentally friendly living is often misinterpreted. Nobody wants you to move to a cave or use candles instead of lighbulbs. It's about adopting ideas and picking up a few habits that make a difference. Don't be stubborn and refuse to do what makes sense just because you don't want to follow "orders" from those hippis who are useless anyways because all they do is protest in front of various parliaments. They are nice folks so leave them be. Don't start to recycle because you are told to do so. Don't do it for the protestors and don't do it for us either. Do it to help all living things.

Earth doesn't neep help, humanity does

We don't like using phrases such as "reducing our carbon footprint", "saving the planet" or "let's wake up before it's too late". The planet doesn't need to be saved, it's just fine as is. All we need to do is realize that what we've been doing lately destroys everything around us, change our attitude (for example it's not ok to waste water just because we can afford it financially) and vote against cutting down the rainforests. And if they don't ask us to vote then make them! Humans are in an increadibly powerful position - we can wipe out ourselves or choose to live with nature and enjoy all the benefits.
